LA NOCHE DE LOS POETAS
Noche de fuego y agua. 2018
Gallery owner and art collector Lio Malca was pleased to present the second edition of our poetry event, Noche de fuego y agua at La Nave Salinas on Thursday, August 23, at 9:00 p.m.

Painter and cultural manager Mario Arlati guided us in remembrance of the death of poet laureate Federico Garcia Lorca. Poets Carles Fabregat, Àngels Escandell, Pep Tur, Eva Tur, Nora Albert and Toni Roca recited poems as we projected two video installations by the New York artist Bill Viola in the background.

La Nave Internacional de Poesía. 2017
In 2017, La Nave Salinas hosted the first edition of La Nave's Internacional Poetry Event. For the past six years, painter and cultural manager Mario Arlati has been organizing an event in the Ses Salinas that is dedicated to the remembrance of Spanish poet, Federico Garcia Lorca

The winner of the XXV Reina Sofía Iberoamerican Poetry Award, Antonio Colinas participated in the poetic reading. Other Poets who joined us that evening were Àngels Escandell, Ben Clark, Carles Fabregat, Julio Herranz and Toni Roca. The attendees were surrounded by the work of Keith Haring while they listened to the verses of García Lorca, Baudelaire, Leopardi, Quasimodo, the poets of the generation Beat and nobel laureate, Bob Dylan. After those tributes, the poets read a selection of their own work.
