KIDS PLAY AT LA NAVE
We believe that La Nave Salinas Foundation and its exhibition space is an opportunity to welcome the work of local and international contemporary artists and share it with the children of our community.
In order to become a link between art and our youngest locals, we have designed Kids Play at La Nave, and every summer we organize successful workshops where children are encouraged to connect with artists and their work through reflection and artistic practice.
Each year, new recreational and educational workshops are designed around the current exhibition at La Nave. This affords the children an opportunity to learn about a new artists a a new technique and a new way of approach to art every year.
HOSH IS BACK
For the V edition of Kids Play at La Nave Hosh, our favorite urban artist from Ibiza, return to La Nave to lead our workshops within the framework of our summer exhibition UNIVERSALIS by Kenny Scharf, the inventor of pop surrealism.
ELENA RUIZ & JAVIER APARICIO
Elena Ruiz, director of MACE and Javier Aparicio, director of Art Projects Ibiza leading Kids Play at La Nave 2018.
Attendees have the opportunity to see Bill Viola's works of art and learn how art can be a tool to express the connection between the body and soul.
Over the course of 4 workshops, HOSH, our favorite street artist from Ibiza, share his skills with the children of the island, teaching various techniques on a multitude of media, from hats to walls, taking inspiration from the Keith Haring exhibition.
& LOCAL ARTISTS
Lio Malca, Ponce+Robles, and Paris Hilton's Foam & Diamonds join together for the first time to host a series of artistic workshops for children. All proceeds of this event went to APNEEF (Association of People with Special Needs of Eivissa and Formentera).
The kids workshop sessions are established to encourage curiosity, creative thinking, and help inspire the children to explore and develop their own artistic skills in the dynamic exhibition environment of La Nave Salinas.
In 2015, Lio Malca is pleased to invite the children of Ibiza and Formentera to visit the KAWS exhibition at La Nave Salinas and attend free workshops given by chef Boris Buono, founder of the Food Studio, along with artists Antonio Gazquez, Willie Marquez and Romy Querol.
